A Dog-Friendly Car Dealership in Columbia, CT
Car shopping or waiting for vehicle service can take some time, and for dog owners, that sometimes means figuring out what to do with your pup before heading to the dealership.
At Wile Hyundai, we've made that decision a little easier.
Our on-site dog park gives customers visiting the dealership a dedicated outdoor space for their dogs to stretch their legs, get some fresh air, and take a break.
For customers coming from Columbia, Mansfield, Willimantic, Coventry, Hebron, and throughout Eastern Connecticut, it's one more reason you can feel comfortable bringing your dog along when you visit us.
Meet the Wile Hyundai Dog Park
Located right here at Wile Hyundai, our dog park was created with our customers — and their dogs — in mind.
Instead of your dog waiting at home while you visit the dealership, you can bring them along and give them a chance to enjoy some outdoor time during your visit.
If you're here for a longer appointment, the park can also provide a convenient break for both you and your pup.
Visiting Wile Hyundai With Your Dog?
Before your visit, here are a few simple things you may want to bring:
-
Your dog's leash
-
Water or a travel bowl
-
Waste bags
-
A favorite toy or treat
-
Anything else that helps your dog feel comfortable away from home
Please supervise your dog while using the park and be considerate of other customers and pets sharing the space.
Car Shopping With Your Dog? Bring Them Along
Your dog may even have an opinion about your next Hyundai.
If you're shopping for a vehicle that needs to accommodate both people and pets, bringing your dog along can actually help you get a better idea of how a vehicle will work for your everyday life.
You can see how easily your dog gets in and out, explore the cargo area, check the rear-seat space, and get a better feel for whether the vehicle provides enough room for your family.
Hyundai SUVs such as the Tucson, Santa Fe, and Palisade offer different amounts of passenger and cargo space, so seeing them in person can help you determine which size works best for you and your four-legged passenger.

More Than Just a Place to Buy a Car
We want Wile Hyundai to feel like a part of the community we serve, not simply a place where you purchase or service a vehicle.
Small details can make a dealership visit more enjoyable, and our on-site dog park is one of the things that makes Wile Hyundai a little different.
It gives our customers another option when planning their visit and reflects something that's important to us: making the dealership experience welcoming and convenient.
From Our Team at Wile Hyundai
“Why was having a dog park at Wile Hyundai important to the dealership?”
"For me, the dog park highlights our overall stance within the community. Customers can bring their four-legged friends to their appointments, and instead of having to wait inside, you and your pup can stretch your legs and have some fun. You can even hike the trail out back! More importantly, it reflects how we want everyone — and their pups — to feel welcome at our store."
